Orthodontist Ashley Clayton, DMD

Creating the Smile You Deserve

Dr. Clayton was born and raised in the Savannah area. His interest in dentistry came from spending time with his father-in-law who practiced in the Savannah area for more than 30 years.

He chose to specialize in orthodontics after he saw how confident a child or adult can become after getting the smile they deserve. His attention-to-detail mindset matches perfectly with what it takes to diagnose and treat an orthodontic case effectively.

Education & Experience

Dr. Clayton graduated top of his class at Armstrong Atlantic State University with a B.S. in Biology. From there, he completed dental school at the Dental College of Georgia (formerly MCG), graduating number one in his class while receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.

Finally, Dr. Clayton completed a 2.5 year residency specializing in orthodontics at the Dental College of Georgia after completing dental school.

Outside of the Office

Dr. Clayton became the luckiest man in the world when he convinced his high school sweetheart, Katie, to marry him.

As if dental school wasn't challenging enough, he and his wife decided to have kids, (three daughters - pray for him) while in school.

He enjoys spending as much time as he can with his family and learning how to be a parent day by day.

Dr. Clayton and his family enjoy spending time outside, traveling, and finding new restaurants to try. To counter being severely outnumbered by females in his house, he also enjoys fishing, hunting, running, and attempting to play golf.

Above all, he and his wife are happy to be back home in the Savannah area where their kids can grow up where they did among family and close friends.
